Terms
Terms of service
The short version: this is a modelling tool, not advice; outputs are scenarios, not forecasts; your data stays yours.
What BillingEngine is
BillingEngine is an educational and analytical product. It teaches how AI workload economics work and produces scenario models for AI use cases, based on inputs you provide and assumptions that are labelled as our estimates.
These terms govern your use of billingengine.tech and the BillingEngine product. By using the service you accept them.
Not financial, legal or investment advice
BillingEngine outputs are scenarios and ranges, not forecasts. They are models of what could be true under stated assumptions, not predictions of what will be true.
Nothing in the product, the Academy, the Insight library or any report constitutes financial advice, investment advice, legal advice or a recommendation to buy, build or deploy anything. Decisions about capital allocation, vendor selection and regulatory compliance are yours, and should be made with appropriately qualified advisers.
Examples involving banks, funds or companies are fictional illustrations, not descriptions of any real institution.
Accounts
Some features require an account. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials confidential and for activity under your account.
You must provide accurate information and must not create an account on behalf of someone else without their permission.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the service: no attempting to access other users' data, no scraping or automated extraction beyond normal use, no uploading unlawful content, and no misrepresenting BillingEngine outputs as audited figures, vendor quotes or regulatory submissions.
You may share your reports internally within your organisation.
Intellectual property
The product, its content, the Academy curriculum, the Insight library and the underlying models are the property of BillingEngine. You retain ownership of the data you enter.
We grant you a non-exclusive right to use the service and to use the reports you generate for your internal business purposes.
Accuracy and liability
We work to keep assumptions visible and calculations correct, and the calculation engine is deterministic and unit-tested. Even so, model prices, benchmarks and defaults change frequently, and we do not warrant that any figure is current or applicable to your situation.
To the extent permitted by law, BillingEngine is provided as is, and we exclude liability for decisions made in reliance on its outputs. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be notified to account holders by email. Continued use after a change means acceptance.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. Last updated: September 2026.
